We began a goat herd after trying out a few goats for milk, meat and fiber. We have fallen in love with all of them.  We maintain a small herd of purebred Oberhaslis and Nubian does for milk.   We also have a Saanen and a painted Togg/Boer cross doe. Our goats are raised naturally, dam fed (they nurse from their mothers), pasture fed, and are never given hormones.  We rarely use antibiotics and only when it is necessary to save the life of a breeding animal.  We maintain our own show quality Oberhasli and Nubian herd bucks for breeding. 
Our goat herd is protected by guardian llamas and livestock guardian dogs.

OUR NUBIAN DOE AND PAINTED PERCENTAGE BOER DOE WILL BE BRED TO OUR NUBIAN BUCK IN THE NEXT MONTH.

January 2008 Update: We have dried off the goats as we have bulging mamas!  Evereyone looks preggers, including the Oberhasli's Marty and Candy, our Nubian doe Stardust, our Boer doe Tootsie, and our Saanen doe Snow.  The pitter patter of baby goat feet should start about the beginning of March. We are already missing the milk!

SUMMER 2007 - WE HAVE SOLD ALL OF OUR PUREBRED BOERS AND 75% BOERS.     WE HAVE RETAINED A PAINTED 50% DOE OUT OF ABRAHAM (SEE BELOW).
