"Frostie" was born to SLF Kiger Wolf Moon by an unknown Kiger stallion in February 2004. Born in the desert in winter, she lost the tips of her ears to frostbite. So her name is figurative and literal in meaning. Despite her battle with frostbite she was a strong and hardy foal and she has grown into a decidedly Alpha mare. She is intelligent, courageous, loving and athletic with personality to spare. She has been blessed with a tri-colored mane and the crested Spanish neck.

Frostie has imprinted on and bonded with Jolynn. She has done ground work since a foal and has done many hours in the round pen and on the lunge line. She missed her "coming out" as a 3 year-old due to John’s stroke. We hope to have her out for the 2008 season as a maiden 4 year-old.
